Priya Hemesh is a talented playback singer working in South Indian Film Industry. She started her playback career in 2005 with the super hit song "Kozhi veda kozhi" from the movie "Something Something Unakkum Enakkum", composed by Mr. Devi Sri Prasad. She has sung more than 200 songs working with many leading music directors like Maestro Isaignani Illayaraja, Mr. Harris Jeyraj, Mr. D. Imaan, Mr. Vijay Antony, Mr. Devi Sri Prasad, Mr. Yuvan Shankar Raja, Mr. Mani Sharma, Mr. Karthik Raja, Bharadhwaj, Mr. Dhina, Mr. Srikanth Deva, Mr. Sirpi, Mr. Mano Murthy, Mr. V. Harikrishna, Mr. Thaman and Mr. Gopi Sundar.
She has started singing in light music orchestras in 1989 and performed more than 5000 stage shows with many leading orchestras in India and Overseas. She is a regular member of Maestro Isaignai Ilayaraja's Live shows. She has performed stage shows with great playback singers like Mr.SPB, Mr.Hariharan, Ms.Chithra, Ms.Sujatha, Mr.Karthik, Mr.Srinivaas, Mr.Mano, Mr.Vijay Yesudoss, Mr.Haricharan, Mr.Ranjith.
She has performed live shows in various countries including Australia, France, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the USA.
